Examine how social media and popular culture can be important ways to study Muslim American women. Explore the theory of intersectionality as it is a useful theoretical lens to study Muslim South Asian American women. Discover why religion, in addition to race, class and gender is an important lens for understanding American Muslim women’s lives today.
