Tuesday, May 26, 9am - 2:30pm,  Birds of VT Museum and Lunch 

 

We will be visiting the Birds of VT Museum and then having lunch afterwards. The Museum have two floors and has a stair chairlift to get to the 2nd floor. Limit to 20 people.

Exhibits: The ground floor, there are two dioramas of shore and wetland birds that can be found on and near Lake Champlain, a room of endangered and extinct species, two-single-species displays of significant birds, cabinets of early carvings, and a window looking out on a feeding area that attracts wild birds.

Upstairs, examine a panorama of raptors, immerse yourself in aisles of birds that next in Vermont’s forests and fields, and wander into the workshop/discover room (where there are usually hands-on activities).

We will be leaving around 9am and anticipate being back around 2:30pm. Janice will arrange the carpooling.
