Bird Song Presentation, April 14th, 4-5pm, Morristown Centennial Library

Bird Song: Birds delight us, not just with their colors and flight, but also with their songs.  Why do birds sing?  What does it mean?  How can this make such complicated vocalizations?  Learn what scientists have learned about these questions and what mysteries still remain. 

Lisa Zinn is an Associate Professor of Natural Science at Vermont State University-Johnson.  She is a licensed bird bander and has been researching birds with her students for over 20 years.  A Morrisville resident, she can often be found around the area with her binoculars looking for birds.
